  • What do you do to select everything in Excel? The obvious answer is the use of ctrl + A. But do you know there is an easier way in Excel. To select everything, you have a corner button in the top left corner of Excel from which you can select everything in one click.
  • If you want to open multiple Excel files at once, you do not need to open different files again and again. You can open all your work files in just one click. For this, you must first select all the files by pressing ctrl. Then press the enter button. All the necessary files will open in different tabs simultaneously.


  • While working on Excel, you must have seen that there are only three shortcut menus above. The first save button is the second undo button and the third repeat button. In such a situation, if you want more shortcut buttons, then go to File-> Options-> Quick Access Toolbar and select Cut and Copy. Now you will see that you have more than 3 short cut menus.
  • If you are working on different spreadsheets, then moving from one spreadsheet to another or third seems very troublesome. Sometimes the work of one spreadsheet is done on another. In such a situation, you can control all your tabs with one shortcut. For this, you have to press ctrl + tab, so that the tab will be changed automatically. You can also use this shortcut in the browser etc.

  • If you are adding a row or column at a time, then you must know that it can be annoying to repeat the same step again and again to do the same thing every time. For more than one row or column, press the right click from the highlighted box and go to the Insert option. You will be able to add more than one row and column from here.
  • If you want to move in the data of a column, the fastest way is to bring the pointer to the border of the column as soon as it turns into a cross arrow. If you want to copy this data too, then you press the ctrl button and pull down, your data will be copied.
  • The fastest way to quickly delete empty cells is to filter all empty cells and delete them with a single click. For this, first you select the column you want to filter. Now go to the data and select the filter. A drop down menu will open in front of you. Now uncheck Select All and click on the blanks. Now you come back to home and click on delete directly, all the empty cells will be deleted.

  • If you try to scroll down the page with the mouse, you may take a lot of time. There is also a very simple solution for this. With the help of this you can go up or down very quickly as soon as the spinach is blinking. For fast movement, you use the directional button with ctrl. For example, press ctrl with the down arrow to move down.
  • To insert the data of the row into the column or the data of the column into the row, you need to know about the transpose function of the paste. For this, you select the area you want to transpose. Now you move the pointer to some empty place and go to the home. After this you will see a paste there. If you click on it, you will see the transpose. By clicking on it, you can transpose the data. You have to keep in mind that this function will not work until you copy the data.
  • If you use Excel, then you must know that Excel removes all earlier zeros. To correct this, instead of changing the formatting, you can solve this problem by first placing a quote mark in front of zero.
  • Do you know that you just need double click to rename Excel sheet. For this, go to the sheet written in the tab below and double click. This will allow you to rename your sheet easily.
